FLORIDA NATIVE ORCHIDS - 6820 2nd Street North. St. Petersburg FL 33702. PH: 727/527-2821. "Bud" Spence is one smart guy when it comes to orchids. Nestled in a quiet section of St.Pete, it's a great way to spend an afternoon from 12-5pm 365 days a year!

FAIRFIELD TROPICAL GARDENS- 1090 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables, Fl. This is on our list of "too see" in 2005. The gardens offer educational activities such as a conservatory, a rainforest walking trail and even a cafe for that rest and drink!

BOK TOWERS GARDENS- 3 miles north of Lake Wales, Florida Midway between Tampa and Orlando. Ph:813-676-1408magnificent gardens and the historic Bell Tower with 57 bronze bells. Recitals are daily at 3pm and on the half hour beginning at 10am daily.

FLORIDA BOTANICAL GARDENS - 12175 125th Street North, Largo, Florida 33774 Ph: 727-582-2581. An "oasis of green" in the middle of the city. 200 acres of beautiful gardens. Inexpensive memberships available. MAP

THE MARIE SELBY BOTANICAL GARDENS - 811 South Palm Avenue, Sarasota, Florida 34236 Ph: 813-366-5130A wonderful place filled with waterfall gardens, banyan groves, bromeliads, tropical displays, and more. Open 10AM to 5PM Daily except Christmas. Memberships available.

A WORLD OF ORCHIDS - 2501 Old Lake Wilson Rd. Kissimmee (for all non-Floridians that is pronounced Kis-sim-mee), Orlando, Florida 34747 Ph: 407-396-1887 (or 1881). Absolutely gorgeous orchids, with guided tours-wife and I spent a day of our honeymoon here.
Open 9:30AM to 5:30Pm 365 Days a year. A must see!

FLORIDA WEST COAST ORCHID SOCIETY - 12175 125th ST.N.,Largo Fl. We are a "not for profit" organization. Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at The Florida Botanical Gardens(MAP) Educational class starts at 7:00P.M, General Meeting at 7:30PM
